Prayer for Comfort and Healing
Loving and Merciful God,
We come before You with broken hearts, carrying the weight of grief and sorrow for the children, families, and community devastated by this tragic shooting.
Wrap the families of the victims in Your tender embrace. Hold them close in their grief, offering comfort and giving them strength when hope feels distant. Surround them with love that eases their burden and with faith that reminds them they are never alone.
Lord Jesus, You welcomed little children with open arms—please receive into Your eternal care the innocent lives lost. Heal the hearts of their parents, siblings, classmates, and teachers who mourn with deep sorrow.
Holy Spirit, bring peace where there is fear, courage where there is despair, and unity where there is brokenness. May our Church and community stand as a beacon of compassion, justice, and hope.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
