Luz Blandon Receives the 2022 ATHENA Award
Luz Blandon, Executive Vice President for Immigrant Children Services, is the winner of the 2022 Greater Pittsburgh ATHENA Award, presented by Pittsburgh Technology Council.
The ATHENA Award recognizes exceptional women who demonstrate excellence in their profession, contribute to their community, and help other women and girls succeed through mentorship.
Luz leads our Journey of Hope program, with a staff of over 200 dedicated Youth Care Workers, Case Managers, Clinicians, and others, all working to improve the lives of children and families when they are at a vulnerable and often traumatic point in their lives.
