In Memory of Patricia Rooney
Patricia Rooney was a longtime friend of Holy Family Institute and will be greatly missed.
Sister Linda recalls fondly that, “Pat would always write handwritten thank you letters whenever she received a gift or a kindness. I remember when we were named the official Courage House of the Steelers. Mrs. Rooney was invited to attend our first luncheon to have a seat of honor next to Dan. Mrs. Rooney had to decline to attend because she couldn’t leave her post as a teacher at Robert Morris University. She was an amazing woman who was steadfast in her values and commitment to her family, obligations, and community.”
