What We Do

HFI Specialized Learning

Holy Family Specialized Learning (HFSL) is a licensed, private academic school for students in grades 1-12. Enrollment is based on a referral from the student's home school district. HFSL serves families and school districts in Allegheny and surrounding counties.

HFSL students are supported through a 1:6 student to staff ratio. Classrooms are staffed with a Pennsylvania-certified teacher and a classroom associate. Course content features hands-on experiental learning aligned with state standards.

Referring a Student

To refer a student for enrollment during the 2024-2025 school year, school districts must complete the form linked HERE.

2024-2025 School Year Calendar

Holy Family Specialized Learning is licensed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Private Academic Schools and approved to offer elementary and secondary programming in regular education and special education including Learning Disabled, Intellectually Disabled and Socially/Emotionally Disturbed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education.
